Backstory

In the bustling streets of Kochi, amidst the aroma of freshly brewed chai and the hustle of daily life, K R Vijayan and his wife Mohana ran their modest tea stall, 'Sri Balaji Coffee House.' Despite their humble beginnings, the couple shared an unbreakable bond and a shared dream of exploring the world beyond their small corner of the city.

Every day, as they served piping hot cups of tea and delicious parippu vadas to their loyal customers, Vijayan and Mohana set aside a portion of their earnings, saving Rs 300 diligently for their dream of traveling the globe. Their journey began in 2007 when they embarked on their first international trip to Israel, funded solely by their hard-earned savings.

Over the years, their determination and passion for exploration led them to venture across 26 countries, despite facing financial constraints. They didn't let setbacks deter them; instead, they took small loans and sought support from sponsors who were inspired by their incredible story of perseverance.

Their travels became the stuff of legend, earning them near-global fame and admiration from people worldwide. From savoring street food in Bangkok to marveling at the architecture of Rome, Vijayan and Mohana's adventures inspired countless others to chase their dreams, no matter how humble their beginnings.
