Streets of Goa | Echo Series

Some streets aren't remembered for their monuments. They're remembered for what's open.

The bike rental with the shutter half up. The café spilling out onto the pavement, one table always occupied. The bakery with bread stacked before sunrise. The little shop where the evening starts, bottles lined up, a barrel by the door.

This is Goa at street level - a stretch of colour-washed old-quarter buildings, each one doing exactly what it's always done, unhurried by the century.

The Streets Collection is inspired by the old Portuguese quarters of Panjim, Goa's capital, where laterite-tiled roofs and colour-washed façades still stand the way they've stood for generations. Each piece in this set is a handcrafted collectible magnet, completely hand-painted to capture a shopfront exactly as it lives - ivy on the wall, a scooter parked just inside, a table set for two.

For anyone who's walked those lanes and stopped, without meaning to, outside a door that wasn't theirs.

Backstory

Rent-a-Ride : Faded blue walls, white balustrades, and a mint-green scooter parked just inside the shutter. This is the shop every visitor passes at least twice - once on the way in, once looking for a ride out.

The Café Balcony : A colonnaded balcony wrapped in ivy, a table already set, a door left open in invitation. Half the charm of these streets is never knowing whether a café is a destination or a discovery.

The Bakery - A striped awning, a spiral staircase curling up to the floor above, and bread laid out before the street has properly woken. Some shops don't need a sign. The smell does the advertising.

Feni & Liquor - Deep red walls, a wrought-iron balcony overhead, and crates stacked by the door. As the afternoon stretches into evening, this is where the street exhales.

Four shopfronts, four small worlds behind four different doors. Together, they're not a monument. They're a street - the kind that stays open long after the tourists have moved on to the next one.
